## Mental health counseling and psychiatric services

Alquimedez Mental Health Counseling offers individual therapy, psychiatric evaluations,
and medication management when clinically appropriate. We provide telehealth services
in English and Spanish, with care based on your concerns, treatment goals, and clinical
needs.

## Individual therapy

Therapy offers space to discuss what you are experiencing, identify goals, and develop
coping skills. Our individual therapy services address concerns such as:

 * Anxiety, depression, and stress.
 * Trauma and difficult life experiences.
 * Grief, loss, and life transitions.
 * Emotional regulation and relationship concerns.

Your clinician will work with you to determine an appropriate treatment plan. Session
frequency depends on your clinical needs, goals, clinician recommendations, and 
availability.

## Psychiatric evaluations and medication management

A psychiatric evaluation may help assess mental health symptoms and determine whether
medication treatment is appropriate. Medication management includes reviewing symptoms,
treatment response, side effects, and follow-up needs with a prescribing clinician.

Depending on your assessment, your clinician may recommend therapy, medication management,
or a combination of services. Psychiatric services are provided by telehealth when
clinically appropriate and legally permitted.

Appointments take place virtually through a secure platform. Let our team know your

so we can confirm service availability.

## Getting started

 1. **Request an appointment.** Complete our online intake or contact our office for
    assistance.
 2. **Complete the administrative review.** Our team reviews your information, requests
    any missing documents, confirms service availability, and verifies insurance when
    applicable.
 3. **Confirm your appointment.** Our team helps arrange the appropriate visit and 
    provides the next steps.

from our team.

## Insurance and payment

Our office can help verify your benefits and explain available self-pay options.
Insurance verification is not a guarantee of payment. Coverage depends on your plan,
service, location, and other applicable requirements.
