Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor

If alcohol or other substance use is affecting your health, relationships, responsibilities, or daily routine, you can request a conversation about available support. You do not need to decide on a diagnosis or treatment plan before asking for help.

Discussing your concerns

Useful topics include what has prompted you to seek support, previous treatment, your goals, and any requirements from a referring organization. A professional assessment helps determine appropriate next steps; different people may need different levels of care.

Finding appropriate treatment

For alcohol concerns, treatment options can include behavioral care, medications, and recovery support. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism explains these options and how to find help. Ask a healthcare professional which approach is appropriate for your circumstances.

For a court or employer referral, tell our office the exact requirement before booking. A counseling appointment does not automatically satisfy a mandated assessment or program.

Request an appointment

Request an Appointment or contact our office to discuss your request. Tell our team your state and the type of support you are seeking so availability and next steps can be confirmed. Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment.
