At Alquimedez Mental Health Counseling, we consult and provide technical leadership and demonstrate expertise in mentoring with an overall focus on the growth and development of your Mental Health Program needs with a clear emphasis on the advancement and the delivery of mental health services. Alquimedez focuses on a multi-sector response. The aim is to focus on humanitarian intervention to provide, assist, and create an approach for the vulnerable sector. For example, it might be Camp Coordination and Camp Management, Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), Health, Shelter, and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS).
Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Humanitarian Settings
At Alquimedez Mental Health Counseling, we consult survivors of conflict and disasters that are at higher peril for psychological distress and mental health conditions due to continued and overwhelming stress and uncertainty and their loss that often includes homes, community loved ones, and livelihoods. As a consulting agency, we prioritize the prevention and treatment of mental health and psychosocial needs in humanitarian crises, we can respond to these immediate needs. As communities recover and development begins, we focus on the longer term to help strengthen mental health care systems and shape national policies.
The mental health outreach plan is evaluated based on the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) strategy aims to improve the quality and integrity of program delivery, ensure that programs are responsive to the needs of affected populations, and meet all requirements and standards of accountability.
