Mental Health Counseling

Mental health counseling provides a setting to discuss emotional concerns and work toward practical goals. People may seek support for stress, anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship difficulties, or changes in daily life.

What counseling can address

Talk therapy can help people explore connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; practice coping and communication skills; and identify changes that support daily functioning. The approach depends on the person’s concerns and circumstances.

Online counseling in English or Spanish

Alquimedez provides telehealth counseling. Tell our intake team your preferred language and the state where you will be physically located during your appointment so service availability can be confirmed.

Preparing for your first conversation

Consider what prompted you to seek help, how the concern affects everyday life, and what you hope will improve. You can ask about the appointment format, confidentiality, treatment approach, and how progress will be discussed. You do not need to know your diagnosis before requesting an appointment.
